Come and join us on this interesting cake making and baking course. We will show you the basics, teach you the secrets of mixing and give you great tips on how to bake perfect miature cakes. Ideal for afternoon teas.
(A) TRAY BAKES: During this new 3.5 hour hands-on course you will learn the skills to make and bake: (1) Sticky Toffee Tray Bake. (2) Double Chocolate Brownies Tray Bake. and (3) Coconut Fingers Tray Bake.
(B) MINATURE CAKES: During this new 3.5 hour hands-on course you will learn the skill to make and bake: (1) Mini Frangipanne Tartlets; (2) Chocolate & Strawberry Preserve Cakes; and (3) Moist Orange Mini Loaves.
(C) AFTERNOON TEA: During this 6 hour hands-on course you will develop the confidence to make and bake delicious mini cakes for your cake stand : (1) American Style Muffins; (2) Traditional Cookies; (3) Decorated Cupcakes; (4) Buttermilk Scones - plain and fruited.
(D) MERINGUES & MACAROONS: During this 6 hour hands-on course you will master the secrets of making meringues and macaroons. (1) Macaroons (3 types): Tangy Lemon + Raspberry Ripple + Chocolate Peanut; (2) Fruit filled Meringue Pavlova Nests; (3) Raspberry Roulade (looks difficult but this classic is delicious).
Bakers Do It Better - and you will learn more when you attend one of our courses. The maximum class size is 12 students and students work individually and not in pairs - we believe this provides you with a superior learning environment. Also the fee covers everything, including ingredients, and car parking is free.
