COURSE A: PALEO BAKING: The Paleo diet is a popular diet consisting of natural and healthy ingredients and is based on the diet and food our ancestors ate. The diet is grain and cereal free and this can present difficulties when baking - but we can help with this. You will bake Seeded Bread (great for those who miss the bread texture and flavour; Cheese Crackers (ideal for cheaseboards and snacks; Crunchy Ginger Snaps (these have the crunch that most paleo biscuits lack); and finally Lemon & Poppy Muffin (always popular but paleo friendly).
COURSE B: GLUTEN FREE BAKING: Many people are now eating gluten free foods either for medical reasons or just by choice. Gluten free baking is hard to master but we are here to help. Our Gluten Free Baking course includes: Cheese Soda Bread - ideal for sandwiches; Gluten Free Crackers - great with cheese and snacking (something gluten free people miss out on); Chocolate and Pear Cake - which is delicious; and Lemon Polenta Cake - moist and very popular. IMPORTANT PLEASE NOTE: We use gluten free ingredients on this course BUT the Baking Academy is NOT a gluten free environment
COURSE C: SUGAR FREE BAKING: Sugar consumption is high in Ireland, especially among children and teenagers. This course will show you how to make and bake delicious and interesting products - but without the guilt. Our Sugar Free Baking course includes: Coffee Banana Nut Muffins; Buleberry and Oat Breakfast Bar; Chocolate and Orange Brownies; and Courgette Loaf. All ideal for a snack or the school lunch box.
